Kendall is big, so the best route depends on where you start. From Dadeland Mall, get on Kendall Drive (SW 88th St) and take the ramp to the Palmetto Expressway north. Get off at Miller Drive (SW 56th St), turn right, then left on SW 72nd Ave, go north about a mile and turn left on SW 42nd St. That takes about 9 minutes. From Baptist Hospital and the middle of Kendall, the quickest way is the Don Shula Expressway (SR 874, a toll road) north to the Bird Road exit: turn right on Bird Road, right on SW 72nd Ave and right on SW 42nd St. From the middle of Kendall it is about 11 minutes outside rush hour.
