Mercedes-Benz C-Class repair in Miami

A C-Class is comfortable in Miami traffic, but it expects service done to Mercedes specs. We do Service A and B, check open recalls first, explain every finding in plain words and give you a written price before any work.

What we see on the C-Class

Check engine light and oil in the plugs

On the 2.0L turbo four in many 2015 to 2021 C300s, the camshaft adjuster magnets are known to leak oil into their plugs. The oil can wick up the wiring, so we fix the leak and check the harness.

Check engine light

Auxiliary battery warning

Many C-Class cars from about 2015 on use a small second battery that backs up some electrical systems. When it weakens, the dash shows an auxiliary battery warning. We test both batteries before we replace either one.

Battery replacement

Steering suddenly heavy

Mercedes recalled certain 2015 to 2017 C300s for electric power steering faults that can cut the assist (NHTSA 15V845, 16V438 and 17V243). We check your VIN for open recalls first.

Power steering

Engine will not turn over

Mercedes recalled certain 2015 to 2017 C300s because repeated start attempts can overheat the starting current limiter and create a fire risk (NHTSA 17V114). If the engine will not turn over, stop trying and have it checked.

Starter and alternator

Loss of drive power on a newer C300

Mercedes recalled certain 2022 and 2023 C300s because the transmission wiring harness may be the wrong length and get damaged, which can cut drive power (NHTSA 23V462). We check your VIN, then scan the transmission.

Transmission diagnostics

Brake wear warning on the dash

Mercedes uses brake pad wear sensors. When the warning comes on, the pads are near the end, and the sensor is replaced with the pads. We measure the rotors too and send photos.

Questions people ask

Do I have to go to the dealer for service?
No. You can service your Mercedes at any shop and keep the factory warranty, as long as the work meets Mercedes specs and you keep the records. We use oil that meets the approval for your engine and write it on your record.
What are Service A and Service B?
Mercedes alternates two visits. Service A is the oil service with checks. Service B adds more, such as the cabin filter and brake fluid. The car tells you which one is due.
Do you work on the newer C300 with the mild hybrid?
Yes. 2022 and newer C300s use a 48-volt system with an integrated starter generator. We test it along with the regular battery.
