USAA member? Get your car towed to and fixed at a Miami shop you choose
USAA says its roadside assistance can tow you to the nearest shop or to a shop you choose, within the distance in your policy. Sprinter Garage, one block south of Bird Road, handles mechanical repairs and collision, body and paint work: diagnosis, a written estimate with photos before work, and texts at every step.

Nothing is done without your yes. If a service agreement may cover it, we call the administrator first.

- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.

USAA roadside and tow distance
USAA says roadside assistance covers a tow to the nearest repair shop or to a shop you choose. If the shop you pick is farther than the distance your policy lists, USAA says you may pay the extra miles. Check the limit in your policy before you set the destination.
We are just east of the Palmetto Expressway, close to Westchester, Coral Terrace, Olympia Heights and South Miami.
Insurance claims: you choose the shop
USAA says you have the right to use the shop of your choice and that it cannot require a specific shop. It also has its own STARS shop network, which is optional.
If your claim is for collision damage, you can choose us. We do body, paint and collision repair, send your adjuster a written estimate with photos, and work with any inspector USAA sends. USAA decides what your policy covers. We do not do glass. If the problem is mechanical, like a dead AC, a no start, brakes or a transmission issue, we handle that too.
USAA Extended Vehicle Protection
Some members have a USAA Extended Vehicle Protection agreement. The Florida agreement we read names United Service Protection, an Assurant company, as administrator, and says repairs need a licensed repair facility and a claim authorization before work. Bring the agreement number and we contact the administrator before any repair.
