What GasBuddy+ Premium includes
GasBuddy+ Premium is a paid membership on GasBuddy's fuel savings program. Its Premium page lists guaranteed savings per gallon on fill-ups, bigger savings at select stations, and extra savings when you shop in store.
It also lists 24-hour roadside assistance provided by Allstate: towing up to five miles, flat tire changes, jump starts, lockout service, fuel delivery and winching, up to two events per year. The page does not list car repair or maintenance discounts, so there is no Premium perk to apply at a repair shop.
Why five miles matters here
A five-mile tow covers a good part of the area around our shop. We sit one block south of Bird Road at about SW 72nd Ave, just east of the Palmetto. Parts of Westchester, Coral Terrace, Olympia Heights, Glenvar Heights and South Miami are close. From farther out, like west Kendall or Doral, check the distance first.
If you use your two yearly events early, a later tow may cost you. Keep that in mind when choosing where to go.
Fuel use and your car
If you notice you are filling up more often for the same driving, it can point to a problem: a dragging brake, low tire pressure, a bad oxygen sensor or a misfire. A check costs less than months of wasted gas. We test and show you what we find before quoting.
