PenFed member with a Vehicle Protection Plan? Getting a repair in Miami
PenFed Credit Union sells Vehicle Protection Plans to its members, with plans like Easy Street and Main Street. If your car breaks down in Miami, Sprinter Garage can diagnose it, contact the administrator on your contract before any repair, and tell you in writing what is covered.

Look for the plan name and the claims administrator on your PenFed contract. Send us the contract number.
- 2Check where repairs can be done
Read the repair facility section of your contract, or ask the administrator. If our shop qualifies, book with us.
- 3We diagnose and call the administrator
We document the failure with photos and contact the administrator before any repair.
- 4In writing before work
You get in writing what was approved and what is not covered. Then you decide.
- A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
- Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
- Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.
What PenFed offers members
PenFed is a credit union. For members it offers auto loans, a Car Buying Service, GAP coverage and Vehicle Protection Plans. PenFed describes the plans as picking up where the factory warranty ends, with nationwide coverage and 24 hour roadside help. It names plans such as Easy Street for newer, low mileage cars and Main Street for cars up to 8 model years old.
PenFed advertises these plans with no deductible. Your contract is what counts, so read the declarations page.
Roadside and getting a ride
PenFed lists towing, flat tire changes, fuel and fluid delivery, lockout help and jump starts, plus substitute transportation reimbursement for a rental, rideshare or taxi while a covered repair is done. We do not offer loaner cars, so keep your receipts for the administrator.

What PenFed does not do here
We do not know of a PenFed discount that applies at our shop. Your PenFed membership itself does not change our prices. Every job gets a written price for your exact car first, and sales tax is on parts only.
