Sprinter Garage

Used CarEdge to buy a car? Your next stop in Miami

CarEdge helps you negotiate the out the door price with dealers and compare extended warranties. It does not see the car in person. Before you sign, or right after you take delivery, bring the car to Sprinter Garage for an inspection, and if you bought a warranty through CarEdge, we can help with claims later.

CarEdge at Sprinter Garage

  1. 1
Before you sign, book an inspection

Ask the dealer to let you bring a used car to 7217 SW 42nd St before you sign. If not, book right after delivery.

  2. 2
We check the car, not the deal

We inspect the drivetrain, brakes, suspension, AC, codes, tires and leaks and photograph what we find.

  3. 3
    Written results

You get written findings and prices for any repairs, useful for one last round of negotiation.

  4. 4
    Later, warranty claims

If you bought a warranty through CarEdge, send us the contract number when something fails. We diagnose and call the claims line before any repair.

  • A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
  • Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
  • You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
  • Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.

What CarEdge does

CarEdge is a car buying service. Its tools range from free market data, an Ask CarEdge chat and inventory search, to paid invoice and target price data, an AI buying agent that negotiates out the door prices and pushes junk fees out, and a concierge service where people handle the whole negotiation.

CarEdge also offers insurance tools, loan and depreciation calculators, and an extended warranty marketplace.

CarEdge's extended warranty, in its own words

CarEdge says it does not sell its own coverage. It connects buyers to third party warranty providers it says it vets, and the page is sponsored by a provider. Its warranty page says repairs can be done at any certified mechanic, not just the dealer, and its FAQ says to take the vehicle to any licensed repair facility, call the claims line on your contract, get authorization and have the shop submit the paperwork. You pay your deductible and the provider pays the shop.

That is the process we follow: diagnosis first, the claims call, your yes in writing, then the repair.

Questions people ask

Does CarEdge inspect the car I am buying?
CarEdge's services focus on pricing and negotiation, not a hands on inspection. Book a pre-purchase inspection with us before you sign, or right after delivery.
Can I use a CarEdge warranty at an independent shop?
CarEdge's FAQ says to take the car to any licensed repair facility and call the claims line on your contract. The provider named on your contract makes the coverage decision. We handle the shop side.
Who pays the shop on a CarEdge warranty claim?
CarEdge says you pay only your deductible and the provider pays the shop directly. We put the approved work and your deductible in writing before starting.
Can your inspection help me negotiate?
Our written findings list what the car needs and what it would cost. Many buyers use that list to ask for repairs or a lower price before signing.

Sprinter Garage is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by CarEdge, and CarEdge does not own this shop. CarEdge and its marks belong to their owners. What your contract or plan covers is decided by CarEdge, not by the shop.
