What LoJack Go is

LoJack Go is a Spireon product that adds connected car features to previously owned vehicles. Spireon offers it through buy-here-pay-here car dealers, so if you have it, the dealer that sold you the car likely set it up.

Its features include 24/7 vehicle location, trip history, smart alerts like speeding and low battery, geofences around places like work or school, and help finding the car nationwide and working with police to recover it. LoJack's site also describes service reminders and a virtual glove box in the LoJack app.

Why a low battery alert matters in Miami

Heat is hard on car batteries. A battery can test fine one week and fail the next in a Miami summer. A low battery alert can mean an aging battery, a weak alternator, a loose connection, or something drawing power while the car sits.

We test each of those so you do not just replace a battery that dies again next month.

The device itself

LoJack Go hardware and subscriptions are handled through the dealer that sold the car or through LoJack. For questions about the device, account or alerts, contact them. We work on the car: battery, charging, starting and electrical problems.

Questions people ask

My LoJack Go app says low battery. Do I need a new battery?
Maybe, but not always. It can also be the alternator, a bad connection, or a parasitic drain. We test before replacing anything.
Can a GPS tracker drain my car battery?
Any device wired to the car draws some power. If you suspect a drain, we measure the draw with the car off and find the source. Questions about the LoJack device go to your dealer or LoJack.
LoJack reminded me about service. Can you do it?
Yes. Tell us what the reminder says and your mileage. We give you a written price before any work.
Will you remove or move the LoJack Go device?
Contact the dealer that sold you the car or LoJack about the device. It may be part of your financing terms.
