What DIMO is

DIMO is a vehicle data platform. Drivers connect a car through the DIMO Mobile app, either with a plug-in DIMO device that works with almost any car or, for a Tesla, directly through the app with no device. Once connected, apps can see things like fuel or battery level, mileage, tire pressure, location, and diagnostic trouble codes.

DIMO says you stay in control: apps and companies can only see your data if you choose to share it. It is not a warranty and it does not pay for repairs.

Why a code still needs a hands-on check

A trouble code tells you which system noticed a problem. It does not always say which part failed. A misfire code can come from a coil, a plug, an injector, or a vacuum leak. An emissions code can be a sensor or the converter.

That is why we confirm the code on the car before we quote. You pay for the fix the car needs, not a guess from a code.

EVs, hybrids and Teslas too

Many DIMO users drive a Tesla or another EV. We work on EVs and hybrids of every brand, including 12V battery issues, charge port problems, brakes, tires and alignment. If your car is still under factory warranty, check that coverage first. We will tell you if a repair looks like a warranty item.

Can a Miami mechanic read the code my DIMO app showed?

Yes. Bring the car to Sprinter Garage and tell us the code. We read it with our own scan tools, look at live data and freeze frame, and test the parts involved before giving you a price.

Is DIMO an extended warranty?

No. DIMO is a platform for sharing vehicle data with apps you choose. It does not cover repair costs. If you also have a service contract, bring the contract number and we will follow its claim steps.

My DIMO app says the check engine light is on but the car drives fine. Should I wait?

A steady light usually means get it checked soon. A flashing light can mean a misfire that may damage the catalytic converter, so drive gently and book quickly. We will tell you how urgent it is after testing.

Do you work on Teslas connected to DIMO?

Yes. We service EVs of every brand, including Tesla. Check your factory warranty first for anything that might be covered there.
