Have a 1800Warranty service contract? How to get your car fixed in Miami
1800Warranty's FAQ says you can use your service contract at any repair shop as defined in the contract, and that the shop must call the claims number before starting work. Sprinter Garage diagnoses the car, makes that call, and tells you in writing what is covered before any repair.
1800Warranty at Sprinter Garage
- 1Get the car to us safely
If it broke down, use the roadside number in your contract and ask for 7217 SW 42nd St, Miami.
- 2Tell us you have a service contract
1800Warranty asks you to let the shop know. Send us your contract number.
- 3We diagnose and call claims
We find the cause and call the claims number in your contract before any work, with photos and the estimate.
- 4Written breakdown
You see what was approved, your deductible and what is not covered before we start.
- 5Repair and pickup
1800Warranty says it pays the shop directly. You pick up the car and pay your share.
- A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
- Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
- Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.
What 1800Warranty sells
1800Warranty sells extended vehicle service contracts with four coverage levels, plus month to month or prepaid payment plans. It also runs a dealer program, so some customers get the contract at a dealership.
Its FAQ says contracts without an inspection have a 30 day waiting period for breakdown coverage, and contracts with an inspection start on day one.
Which shop you can use
The FAQ says you can use your contract at any repair shop as defined in the contract. Read that definition on your contract. If you are unsure whether we qualify, call the claims number with us before any work.
1800Warranty's FAQ also says a claim is denied only if the part is not covered at your level, the problem was there before the contract, or it is otherwise excluded.
If you bought from a dealer
If your 1800Warranty contract came from a dealer, the dealer's name may be on the paperwork, but the claims number is in the contract itself. Use that number, not the dealer's sales line.
