Bought your warranty on Chaiz? How a claim works at a Miami shop

Chaiz is an online marketplace where you compare and buy vehicle service contracts from several third party providers. Chaiz does not sell its own contracts and does not handle claims. When something fails, the provider on your contract decides. Bring the car to Sprinter Garage and we work the claim with that provider.

Chaiz at Sprinter Garage

  1. 1
Log in to your Chaiz account

Chaiz says your provider's claim phone number is in your account after purchase. Find it and your contract number.

  2. 2
    Check your contract's shop rules

Rules differ by provider. Some require an ASE certified shop, others any licensed facility. Read yours before the car comes in.

  3. 3
    We diagnose and document

We find the cause and photograph it, without starting the repair.

  4. 4
    The provider reviews

We send the provider what it asks for. It reviews and decides under your contract.

  5. 5
    Written answer, then repair

You see the approved work, your deductible and anything not covered in writing before we start.

  • A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
  • Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
  • You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
  • Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.

What Chaiz is and is not

Chaiz calls itself the first online marketplace to search, compare and buy vehicle service contracts from multiple verified providers. You enter a VIN, license plate or year, make, model and mileage, compare quotes side by side, read the actual contract, and buy online.

Chaiz states that it does not sell its own warranties or service contracts. After you buy, your provider's claim number is available in your Chaiz account, and claims run between the provider and the repair shop.

Why the provider name matters at the shop

Because Chaiz lists several providers, two Chaiz customers can have very different claim rules: different deductibles, different shop requirements, different waiting periods. The first thing we ask is the provider and contract number. That tells us who to call and what paperwork they want.

Whatever the provider, we work the same way: diagnosis and photos, the claims call, your decision in writing, then the repair.

Questions people ask

Does Chaiz handle my warranty claim?
No. Chaiz says it does not sell its own contracts. The provider on your contract handles and decides claims. Its number is in your Chaiz account.
Can I use my Chaiz warranty at any repair shop?
It depends on your provider. Some contracts require an ASE certified facility, others any licensed repair facility. Read your contract, and ask the provider if unsure before any repair.
What do I bring to the shop for a Chaiz contract claim?
Bring the contract number, the provider's name and claim number, your mileage and your maintenance receipts. We add the diagnosis and photos.
Will the provider pay the shop directly?
Most service contracts pay the shop for covered work and you pay the deductible, but check your contract. We confirm it during the claim and put it in writing.

Sprinter Garage is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Chaiz, and Chaiz does not own this shop. Chaiz and its marks belong to their owners. What your contract or plan covers is decided by Chaiz, not by the shop.
