ServiceContract, often shown as SC, sells protection products through car dealers and their finance managers, and says it is backed by one of the leading F&I administrators. How the claim form works

ServiceContract's site has a claim form that asks for your name, contact details, VIN, mileage, contract type and a description, with room to upload images in JPG, PNG or PDF. The claims department contacts you if it needs more and emails you once the claim is processed. You can also reach claims by phone.

The site describes a network of repair facilities and a shop finder. Whether you can use a shop outside that network depends on your contract, so check before you authorize anything.
