Safe-Guard vehicle service contract: getting a repair in Miami

Safe-Guard Products International backs protection plans sold at thousands of dealerships. Its claims page warns that some agreements require prior authorization, so do not start a repair until a representative has been reached. Call Sprinter Garage near Bird Road first, and we diagnose, document, and work with Safe-Guard on the claim.

Who Safe-Guard is

Safe-Guard Products International is an Atlanta company that provides protection products mainly through dealerships, more than 12,000 of them by its count. Its auto lineup includes Vehicle Service Protection, Prepaid Maintenance, Tire and Wheel, Windshield, Key, Dent, Appearance, GAP and Roadside Assistance products.

Many owners first learn they have Safe-Guard coverage when they look at their purchase paperwork, because it was added at the dealership's finance office.

How claims start

Safe-Guard lists three ways to file: by phone, online through its self-service claims portal, or by written request by mail. Its claims page says some agreements require prior authorization before repairs begin, and asks owners not to start repairs until they have connected with a representative.

Whether your agreement lets you use any licensed repair facility is spelled out in the agreement itself. Read that part, or ask Safe-Guard, before the car goes on a lift.

What we handle

We do the mechanical and electrical side: diagnostics, AC, cooling, transmissions, brakes, steering, hybrid and EV systems, and we also do body and paint work. We do not do windshields. For dent or appearance claims, check with Safe-Guard on how the claim works before any repair. We never promise approval. Safe-Guard decides under your agreement.

Questions people ask

Do I need approval from Safe-Guard before repairs?
Safe-Guard says some agreements require prior authorization and asks owners not to start repairs until they connect with a representative. We follow that before touching your car.
Can I take my Safe-Guard contract to an independent shop in Miami?
Check your agreement's section on repair facilities, or ask Safe-Guard. If it allows an independent licensed shop, we can handle the claim.
How do I file a Safe-Guard claim?
Safe-Guard accepts claims by phone, through its online self-service portal, or by mail. If your car is with us, we add the diagnosis, photos and estimate.
Does Sprinter Garage do Safe-Guard windshield or dent claims?
Not windshields, since we do not do glass. For a dent claim, check with Safe-Guard first on where the repair can be done. We do body and paint work, so if your agreement lets you choose the shop, we can give you a written estimate with photos.
What if the claim is denied?
You get a written price for the repair and decide. Nothing is done without your yes.

Sprinter Garage is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Safe-Guard, and Safe-Guard does not own this shop. Safe-Guard and its marks belong to their owners. What your contract or plan covers is decided by Safe-Guard, not by the shop.
