Omega Auto Care plan? Take it to a licensed Miami shop you choose
Omega Auto Care tells contract holders to take the car to a licensed repair facility of their choice and to get Omega's authorization before any repair begins. Sprinter Garage, near Bird Road and the Palmetto, diagnoses the problem, contacts Omega for authorization, and explains the result to you in writing.
Omega Auto Care at Sprinter Garage
- 1Call Omega and protect the car
Omega asks you to call to start the claim and to use reasonable means to prevent more damage. If the car is overheating or making a bad noise, stop driving it.
- 2Bring the car to us
Book online, or call or text us with your Omega contract number. Have it towed if it is not safe to drive.
- 3We diagnose and get authorization
We document the failure with photos and contact Omega. Omega says authorization is strictly required before repairs.
- 4Written breakdown
You see in writing what Omega approved, the deductible, and anything not covered.
- 5Repair and receipts
We bill Omega for the covered part. Keep every receipt Omega mentions, including rental and travel costs.
- A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
- Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
- Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.
Omega plans
Omega Auto Care lists three kinds of coverage. New Exclusionary is for newer cars under 100,000 miles and covers almost all systems. Used Stated Coverage is for older cars under 150,000 miles and covers most systems by name. Powertrain Protection comes in three levels, Powertrain, Powertrain Plus and Powertrain Enhanced, for cars up to 15 model years and 250,000 miles.
Your contract's declarations page shows your plan.
Shop choice and the deductible
Omega's claims page says to take the car only to a licensed repair facility of your choice. Omega also offers a deductible waiver at a group of shops it lists online. We are not one of those, so plan on your regular deductible here.
Maintenance reimbursement
If your Omega contract includes maintenance, Omega says to send the invoice and paid receipt within 45 days of service. Our invoices show the date, mileage, vehicle and the work done, which is what Omega asks you to keep.
