Sprinter Garage

Headstart Warranty Group contract? Use a licensed Miami shop for your claim

Headstart Warranty Group contracts are sold through car dealers. Headstart's FAQ says you can take the car to any state licensed repair facility with a valid business license and tax ID. Sprinter Garage diagnoses the problem, calls Headstart with the diagnosis before any repair, and explains the result to you in writing.

Who Headstart is

Headstart Warranty Group administers aftermarket products sold by new and used car dealers in the US and Canada. You buy its contracts at the dealership. Its auto line includes exclusionary and stated component service agreements and a Miles of Freedom contract, plus limited warranties, maintenance plans and GAP. It also offers TruckGuard contracts for medium and heavy duty trucks.

Where to take the car

Headstart's FAQ says any state licensed repair facility with a valid business license and tax ID can do the work. Headstart also offers help finding a shop, which is optional.

If the shop repairs first and calls later, Headstart can deny the claim. Its claim page says emergency repairs must be reported the next business day.

Rental while you wait

Headstart says that if your agreement includes rental help, it is based on approved labor hours only, and it advises you not to rent a car until the claim is approved. We do not offer loaner cars, so plan your ride once Headstart confirms the rental terms.
