Sprinter Garage

EPA (Extended Protection Administration) plan in Miami

Extended Protection Administration, Inc., or EPA, sells three plans: Endurance EA Premier, Endurance EA Superior and Endurance EA Supreme. Its own site says the plans are not available in Florida, so most Miami residents cannot buy one here. If you bought an EPA plan in another state and drive in Miami now, Sprinter Garage can diagnose the car and work through EPA's claim steps before any repair.

  1. 1
    Check your contract first

Find your EPA contract and make sure it is still active where you live now. EPA's site says the plans are not offered in California, Florida or Massachusetts.

  2. 2
    Contact us before repairs

Call or text us with your contract number and mileage. Do not authorize any repair yet.

  3. 3
    Diagnosis and photos

We find the cause and document it, then follow EPA's claim process through its claims portal or as it directs.

  4. 4
    Written answer, then repair

We explain what EPA approved, your deductible, and what is not covered, in writing. Once approved, we bill EPA directly for what it covers.

  • A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
  • Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
  • You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
  • Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.

EPA's three plans

EPA describes three tiers. Endurance EA Premier covers major parts like the engine, transmission and drive axle. Endurance EA Superior is a stated-component plan that adds more parts, including high-tech systems. Endurance EA Supreme is exclusionary: it covers nearly everything except a list of exclusions.

EPA's site also lists towing assistance, battery service, flat tire service, emergency fuel and fluid delivery, lockout help, and 24/7 customer support. It says the product is a service contract, separate from any manufacturer's warranty.

The Florida question

At the bottom of EPA's site, it states the plans are not available in CA, FL or MA. That matters for a Miami page. If you live in Florida and someone offers you an EPA plan, ask how that fits with EPA's own statement. If you already hold a plan bought while living in another state, read the contract terms about moving and ask EPA whether it still applies.

We will not guess at your coverage. We diagnose, document, and let EPA decide.

Finding a shop

EPA's site mentions a nationwide network and a find a repair shop page. It does not spell out on its public pages whether you can use any licensed shop. Your contract does. We are an independent shop, so confirm with EPA before we start a covered repair.
