Getting an Assurant vehicle service contract repair done in Miami
Assurant contracts are usually sold at the dealership when you buy the car, so many owners do not know who to call when something fails. Bring the car and your contract number to Sprinter Garage. We diagnose it, send Assurant what it needs, and explain its answer in writing before any work.
Assurant at Sprinter Garage
- 1Find your contract
Look for the contract number on your dealer paperwork, or check it on Assurant's Vehicle Care Plan site. Send it to us with your mileage.
- 2Diagnosis with photos
We find the failure and photograph it. Assurant decides claims from the repair facility's information, so clear evidence matters.
- 3We submit to Assurant
Assurant runs an online portal for independent repair shops to file and track claims. We submit there and answer any follow up or inspection request.
- 4Your yes, in writing
We explain what Assurant covers, your deductible, and what is not covered. Assurant says the shop asks for your approval before completing the repair, and we do.
- 5Repair and payment
Assurant says it pays the shop directly once the final invoice for an approved claim is in. You pay only your deductible and anything not covered.
- A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
- Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
- Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.
Assurant's vehicle products
Assurant is a large insurance and protection company headquartered in Atlanta. Through car dealers it offers vehicle service contracts, a Quality Certified limited warranty, prepaid maintenance, GAP, tire and wheel and other add ons, plus newer products such as Assurant EV One Protection and a Technology Plus service contract.
Because dealers sell these, two Assurant contracts can read very differently. The contract in your glovebox is what counts.
How Assurant handles claims
Assurant's claims page has separate doors for consumers, independent repair shops and dealerships. Consumers use the Vehicle Care Plan site to check a claim, manage contracts or get a quote. Independent shops file, track and get paid through an online portal. If your contract came through an Assurant dealer or First Extended, the dealer uses its own portal.
Common failures owners bring in
In Miami heat, AC compressors and condensers, cooling fans, water pumps and transmissions are among the repairs owners ask about most. Whether yours is covered depends on your coverage level and exclusions. We diagnose first, then let Assurant decide.
Questions people ask
Can I take my Assurant service contract to an independent shop?
How do I check my Assurant contract or claim status?
Who pays the repair shop on an Assurant claim?
Is my AC or transmission covered by Assurant?
Sprinter Garage is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Assurant, and Assurant does not own this shop. Assurant and its marks belong to their owners. What your contract or plan covers is decided by Assurant, not by the shop.
