Use your CoverageX auto plan at a Miami repair shop
CoverageX sells auto protection plans directly to drivers and says they can be used at any licensed repair facility nationwide. You pick the shop, the shop contacts CoverageX, and CoverageX pays the shop for approved repairs. Bring the car to Sprinter Garage and we handle the shop side from diagnosis to invoice.
CoverageX at Sprinter Garage
- 1Check your start date
CoverageX's sample agreement shows a 30 day and 1,000 mile waiting period. If your plan is new, confirm coverage has started.
- 2Bring the car and plan details
Send us the contract number, plan level and mileage. Bring maintenance receipts.
- 3Diagnosis and photos
We find the cause and photograph it, without starting the repair.
- 4We contact CoverageX
CoverageX says the repair shop reaches out to start the authorization process. We send the diagnosis and estimate and answer its questions.
- 5Written answer, then work
You get the approved work, your deductible and any non covered items in writing. CoverageX pays the shop directly for approved claims.
- A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
- Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
- You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
- Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.
CoverageX plan levels
CoverageX offers four auto plan tiers: Essential, Signature, Premium and Executive, matched to your car's year, make and model. Essential focuses on the most expensive parts such as the engine, transmission, drive axles and transfer case. Signature adds parts like the starter, alternator, AC and power window motors and is pitched at higher mileage cars. Premium is described as close to new car coverage, including AC, electrical and fuel pump. CoverageX says its tiers include rental and 24/7 roadside help.
Your contract's coverage page is what decides a claim, not the tier name.
How CoverageX handles claims
CoverageX says it does not pass claims to a third party to adjudicate, and that it pays the mechanic directly for approved claims so you are not waiting on reimbursement. You pay your deductible and anything not covered.
In Miami, the claims we see most on plans like these are AC compressors, cooling fans, alternators and transmissions. Whether yours is covered is CoverageX's call under your contract.
