Sprinter Garage

Use your Dealer Loyalty Protection plan at a Miami repair shop

Dealer Loyalty Protection, or DLP, sells protection products through dealers and agents, and it says its plans are accepted by all licensed repair facilities nationwide. For a mechanical failure covered by a DLP service agreement, bring the car to Sprinter Garage. We diagnose it, open the claim with DLP, and you see what is covered before any repair.

Dealer Loyalty Protection at Sprinter Garage

  1. 1
    Find your product

DLP sells several products. Mechanical failures fall under the SMART Service Agreement. Check which you have.

  2. 2
    Send us the contract

Text us the contract number and mileage. Bring your paperwork; DLP keeps customer paperwork on its site.

  3. 3
    Diagnosis with photos

We find the cause and photograph it before any repair.

  4. 4
    We open the claim

We contact DLP's claims line, which DLP says runs 24/7, or use its vehicle claims form, and send the diagnosis and estimate.

  5. 5
    Written answer, then repair

You see the approved work, your deductible and any non covered items in writing. DLP says it pays the repair shop directly for covered parts and labor.

  • A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
  • Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
  • You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
  • Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.

DLP's products

DLP describes itself as a provider of aftermarket protection products for agents, dealers and consumers across the United States. Its lineup includes the SMART Service Agreement for mechanical failures, plus Dent and Ding, Windshield Protection, Key Replacement and Roadside Assistance.

We handle the mechanical side under a SMART Service Agreement, and we also do body and paint work. For a Dent and Ding claim, check with DLP first on where the repair can be done. We do not do glass or key replacement, so those claims go to providers that do that work.

Accepted at licensed repair facilities

DLP states that its protection plans are accepted by all licensed repair facilities nationwide, so you are not tied to the selling dealer. It also says it pays the repair shop directly for covered auto repairs, parts and labor included.

You are still responsible for any deductible and anything your agreement does not cover. We list those before work starts, and we never promise approval.

Roadside, then repair

DLP's roadside product can include towing. We do not tow, but you can ask the driver to bring the car to 7217 SW 42nd St, just east of the Palmetto.
