EFG Companies contract in Miami: get the claim estimate right

EFG Companies administers vehicle service contracts sold through dealers, lenders and others. Its online claim form asks for a detailed estimate with every part number, and it warns that an incomplete estimate delays approval. Sprinter Garage diagnoses the car, builds that estimate with photos, and works with EFG before any repair starts.

  1. 1
    Contact us before any repair

Bring your EFG contract number, the VIN, current mileage and maintenance receipts. Do not authorize work yet.

  2. 2

EFG's form asks for the customer complaint, the cause and the correction. We test the car and write down all three, with photos.

  3. 3
    Full estimate with part numbers

We list every part number, labor hours and rate, and tax, and submit what EFG asks for.

  4. 4
    Approval explained in writing

Before any work, we tell you in writing what EFG approved, your deductible, and what is not covered.

  5. 5
    Repair and direct billing

Once approved, we bill EFG directly for what it covers and text you each step.

  • A written price for your vehicle before any work starts.
  • Sales tax on parts only, never on labor.
  • You pick the shop warranty: 90 days, 1 year, or 2 years.
  • Photos with every estimate and a text at each step.

Who EFG Companies is

EFG Companies has worked in consumer protection products for almost 50 years. It serves auto dealers, financial institutions, insurance agents, manufacturers and service contract providers, and offers administration and underwriting. Its product lines include repair and maintenance products like vehicle service contracts, debt protection, appearance protection, and a Motorist Assistance Plan.

Most drivers did not buy from EFG directly. You likely got the contract with a car purchase or a loan. Your paperwork names EFG as the administrator.

What EFG's claim form asks for

EFG's online claim form asks for the customer name and EFG contract number, the full VIN, year, make, model and odometer reading, the repair facility details, the repair order number and date, the complaint, cause and correction, labor hours and rate, and sales tax. It asks for an uploaded estimate including all part numbers.

That is a lot of detail, and missing pieces slow approval. It is exactly how we already write estimates: specific to your car, with photos.

Shop choice and appeals

EFG's public pages do not say which repair facilities your contract allows. Check the contract or log in to EFG's contract holder portal. If a claim is denied, EFG has a published claim appeal and escalation process. We can give you the diagnosis and photos to support it.

Questions people ask

How do I file an EFG Companies warranty claim in Miami?
Take the car to a repair shop before authorizing work. The shop submits EFG's online claim with the contract number, VIN, mileage and a full estimate with part numbers. EFG reviews it and decides.
Can I take my EFG contract to an independent shop?
EFG's public site does not say. Your contract does, so check it or the contract holder portal. We will confirm with EFG before any covered repair.
Does my EFG contract cover my EV?
It depends on your contract. EFG has a resource page for EV owners. We work on EVs and hybrids of every brand and can document the failure for the claim.
What if EFG denies my claim?
EFG publishes a claim appeal and escalation page. We show you in writing what was denied and give you our findings and photos.

Sprinter Garage is an independent repair shop. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by EFG Companies, and EFG Companies does not own this shop. EFG Companies and its marks belong to their owners. What your contract or plan covers is decided by EFG Companies, not by the shop.
